On May 5, 2021, the provincial new technology appraisal meeting of “Electromagnetic Compatibility Detection System for Large-Scale Equipment” was held.

       This meeting was organized by Industry and Information Technology Department of Jiangsu, and experts and professors from seven entities including Soochow University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, and State Grid Shanghai Electric Power Company were invited.

       This project has passed the laboratory competence accreditation by China National Accreditation Committee for Conformity Assessment, and the system can be used to test large-scale special equipment, automobiles, and large-scale high and low voltage electrical appliances, as well as wind power, photovoltaics, and nuclear power equipment. The completion of this project can improve and broaden electromagnetic compatibility test detection level of various large-scale devices; and provide testing support for development and manufacturing of large-scale devices, thus improving the research and development level of large-scale special equipment, new energy vehicles and power transmission and transformation equipment, greatly shortening the product research and development cycle, and bringing great economic and social benefits.

       The attending experts and professors watched the video materials of the new project, carefully listened to the report of the project leader on the research and development progress, reviewed the appraisal materials, and assessed and inquired the details and application conditions; the technical staff of the company seriously answered all the questions.

        After on-site investigation and repeated discussion, the experts of the appraisal committee agreed that comprehensive performance of the technical system of the Electromagnetic Compatibility Detection System for Large-Scale Equipment is at a leading level in the world, and can fill the gap for electromagnetic compatibility test of large-scale equipment in China. Therefore, they agreed that the system passed the appraisal.
